Embraer has announced the launch of the Phenom 300EV, the latest iteration of its best-selling light jet, which is set to enter service in 2028. This new model will feature Garmin's Emergency Autoland system, making it the largest aircraft equipped with
this automated landing technology. The Phenom 300EV will also include a Multi-purpose Electronic Controller (MEC) that integrates autobrake and rudder-by-wire functions to ease pilot workload. The aircraft retains the Garmin 3000 Prodigy Touch flight deck but adds new capabilities such as 3D taxiway routing and synthetic vision guidance. The Phenom 300EV will continue to use twin Pratt & Whitney Canada PW353E1 engines, with a slightly increased range of 2,055 nautical miles.
