The Anaheim Ducks have announced the signing of Nikita Klepov, their first-round pick from the 2026 NHL Draft, to a three-year entry-level contract. Klepov, an 18-year-old right wing, was selected 15th overall and has shown impressive performance in the Ontario
Hockey League (OHL) with the Saginaw Spirit. During the 2025-26 season, he led the league in scoring as a rookie, amassing 97 points from 37 goals and 60 assists over 67 games. His achievements earned him the OHL Rookie of the Year award and a spot on the OHL First All-Star Team. Klepov also made history as the first American-born player to win the Eddie Powers Memorial Trophy as the OHL's top scorer since 2018-19.
