Parisian fashion label Sandro has revealed a new store concept at its flagship location in the Marais district of Paris. The store, situated at the corner of rue Vieille du Temple and rue des Francs Bourgeois, underwent several months of renovation before
reopening. The new interiors were developed in collaboration with Haos Studio and Atelier Franck Durand. This renovation marks the beginning of a broader upgrade plan for all Sandro stores globally. The design emphasizes a minimalist aesthetic, utilizing materials such as steel, solid oak, and stone, with furnishings made from certified sustainable wood. The lighting scheme deviates from traditional uniform retail lighting, incorporating a mix of exposed spotlights and vintage fixtures to create varied light intensities. The store's layout has been reconfigured into a series of alcoves, designed to present collections as if in separate dressing rooms, moving away from a conventional store distribution pattern. The retail space remains unchanged, with 130 square meters dedicated to womenswear and 90 square meters for menswear, interconnected but with separate entrances.
