What's Happening?
The Akron PorchRokr music festival is set to take place on August 15, 2026, in Highland Square, Akron. This annual event, now in its 14th year, will feature over 100 musical acts performing on porches throughout the neighborhood. The festival will span
from West Market Street to South Rose Boulevard, and from South Portage Path to West Exchange Street. Performances will begin at 11 a.m. and continue hourly until 6 p.m., with the headliner, Rent for Cheryl, closing the event at 7:30 p.m. The festival will also include a beer garden, a kid's zone, karaoke, a silent auction, food trucks, and vendors. Attendees are encouraged to use the free Metro RTA service to avoid traffic congestion.
