What's Happening?
The Grønefeld brothers have introduced the Grøne Oldenzaal Horologium, a new hand-wound dress watch under their entry-level brand. This model is available in two versions, Quirky and Classic, each limited to 188 pieces. The watch features a 39mm stainless
steel case with a polished concave bezel and sapphire crystals. The Quirky version boasts a vibrant orange and blue color scheme, while the Classic version offers a more traditional salmon dial. Both models are powered by a hand-wound La Joux-Perret G100 movement, providing a 60-hour power reserve. Priced at EUR 2,390, the watches will be available for order starting August 13, 2026.
Why It's Important?
The launch of the Grøne Oldenzaal Horologium represents a strategic move by the Grønefeld brothers to make their high-quality craftsmanship more accessible to a broader audience. By offering a more affordable line, they can attract new customers who appreciate fine watchmaking but may not have the budget for their higher-end models. This approach not only expands their market reach but also strengthens their brand presence in the competitive watch industry. The limited edition nature of the watches adds exclusivity, appealing to collectors and enthusiasts who value unique and finely crafted timepieces.
