In the second week of 'Big Brother' Season 28, Rick Devens' tenure as Head of Household concluded with the eviction of houseguest Rome. Devens, a former 'Survivor' contestant, orchestrated a plan to backdoor Rome by initially nominating Jason de Puy,
Melody Morris, and Lyric Medeiros. After winning the Power of Veto, Devens removed Lyric from the block and replaced them with Rome. During the live eviction, Jason won the BB Block Buster competition, securing his safety and leaving Melody and Rome vulnerable. Ultimately, Rome was evicted by a vote of 12 to 1.
