Hormel Foods Corp. has announced the appointment of Ash Bhumbla as its new executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective September 8, 2026. Bhumbla will succeed interim chief financial officer Paul Kuehneman, who will continue to serve
as a senior leader in the finance organization and assist with the transition. Bhumbla joins Hormel Foods from Tyson Foods, where he most recently held the position of senior vice president and chief financial officer of the Chicken segment. In 2025, he also concurrently served as chief financial officer of Tyson’s International segment. Prior to his tenure at Tyson, Bhumbla gained experience in senior finance and corporate development leadership roles at Perdue Farms and International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF). He began his career in strategy consulting with Marakon Associates.
