A new television series titled 'Odysseus' is in development, produced by Tanweer, a Greek distributor, and set to be filmed in Athens. The series is being led by Karl Gajdusek, an executive producer from the first season of 'Stranger Things', who will
serve as showrunner and producer. The pilot episode is written by Sean Finegan, Scott Windhauser, Noah Lang, and Blake Hoss, with Roel Reiné, known for his work on 'Halo' and 'Wu Assassins', directing. The series aims to depict a visceral and muscular portrayal of the Bronze Age, focusing on survival and betrayal, inspired by Homer’s epic tales.
