Tracy Letts, an acclaimed playwright and actor, recently revealed his unexpected involvement in the film 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife.' Originally, Mike Judge, known for creating 'Beavis & Butt-Head' and co-creating 'King of the Hill,' was set to appear in the film.
However, due to a last-minute scheduling conflict, Judge was unable to fulfill the role. Letts, who was in Calgary with his wife, actress Carrie Coon, during the film's production, was offered the part by director Jason Reitman. Letts humorously recounted the situation, noting that Reitman joked about needing someone from Oklahoma for a scene, which led to Letts stepping in. In the film, Letts plays the owner of Wertheimer’s Hardware, sharing a scene with Coon's character, Callie Spengler, as she seeks information about her late father.
