EDENS has announced plans for 'Late Checkout' and 'Nº 31,' a new boutique hotel and Mediterranean-inspired restaurant and bar, set to open in Washington D.C.'s Union Market District by Spring 2027. This development will transform a former motel at the
corner of 4th and Penn streets NE into an urban retreat. Late Checkout will feature 30 private rooms with four distinct design themes, operated by Sojourn Hospitality. Nº 31, conceived by David Nammour and Farid Azouri of Residents Hospitality Group, will offer an intimate cocktail bar and a 6,000-square-foot outdoor patio with a second open-air bar, dining tables, lounge seating, sunbeds, and a tranquil water feature. The project aims to create a welcoming oasis that blends community, design, and culture, drawing inspiration from the Mediterranean Riviera.
