VietJet Air has announced plans to begin a twice-weekly service from Ho Chi Minh City to Western Sydney International Airport starting January 10, 2027. The frequency will increase to three times weekly in March. The route will be operated using Airbus

Additionally, Thai VietJet plans to launch a four-times-weekly service from Bangkok to Western Sydney in November 2027, pending regulatory approval.
