Terra Innovatum Global has announced a significant development in the energy sector with its SOLO micro-modular reactor platform being selected by Latin American media group Waiken ILW. This selection is for an initial deployment to support the data centre
infrastructure of two major broadcasting and streaming services providers, DIRECTV Latin America and SKY Brazil. The non-binding letter of intent covers up to 8MWe of behind-the-meter capacity, delivered via multiple SOLO units. The SOLO reactor is a microreactor capable of scaling up to 1GW or more of CO2-free power, designed to replace fossil fuel-based thermal plants. This marks Terra Innovatum's first commercial deployment initiative in Latin America, reflecting a growing international demand for standardized, factory-built micro-modular nuclear power solutions.
