Rivian has officially opened its East Coast headquarters in Atlanta, marking a significant step in its expansion efforts. The grand opening was attended by Mayor Andre Dickens and Georgia state officials. The headquarters is located in the Junction Krog
District building, strategically positioned on the Atlanta Beltline’s Eastside Trail. This move is part of Rivian's broader plan to construct a $5 billion electric vehicle plant east of Atlanta. The new headquarters is expected to employ around 500 people once fully operational. Rivian's expansion in Georgia is supported by over $1.5 billion in state incentives, and the company has established scholarship and training agreements with several Georgia institutions to support workforce development.
