Stony Brook Athletics successfully hosted the 2026 Golf Classic at St. George's Golf and Country Club, raising over $115,000 to benefit the department and its nearly 500 student-athletes. The event, which was a sellout for the fourth consecutive year,
featured more than 150 golfers and over 200 guests. The funds raised will support critical resources and opportunities for student-athletes, helping them succeed both on and off the field. The event included various competitions, such as closest to the pin and longest drive, and recognized the top-scoring foursome. The Golf Classic serves as a significant fundraiser and a celebration for the Seawolves community.
