Andrada Mining (AIM:ATM) is accelerating its efforts to bring the Lithium Ridge Project in Namibia into production by 2028-2029. This timeline is contingent upon the completion of a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS). According to CEO Anthony Viljoen,
the company is shifting its focus to an aggressive drilling program and comprehensive resource and reserve definition ahead of the DFS. Viljoen noted the upward trend in the lithium market, anticipating another peak between 2028-2029, which aligns with their production target. The Lithium Ridge Project, spanning 3,300 hectares, hosts pegmatites rich in lithium, tin, and tantalum. Recent diamond drilling results have shown high-grade lithium mineralization, including significant intercepts of lithium oxide (Li2O). Andrada Mining also owns the Uis tin mine and the Brandberg West polymetallic project in Namibia, consolidating three key critical mineral assets.
