The Gunter Hotel in San Antonio has officially joined Marriott Bonvoy’s Tribute Portfolio following a comprehensive $57 million renovation. Established in 1909, the hotel has reopened with updated facilities, including 311 guest rooms and 30 suites. The property,
known for its rich musical heritage, features a recording studio, a curated vinyl library, and in-room record players. To celebrate its debut as a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, the Gunter Hotel has launched a special package called 'Restored. Reimagined. Remarkable.' This package offers up to 26% off the Best Available Rate, a champagne toast upon arrival, access to the Vinyl Library, complimentary admission to live music performances, and late checkout, subject to availability. The hotel remains a member of Historic Hotels of America, allowing guests to earn and redeem points through the Marriott Bonvoy program.
