What's Happening?
David Newsam, a long-standing faculty member at Berklee College of Music, has been instrumental in the development of the Classical Guitar Chamber program. Since 1989, Newsam has been teaching in the Guitar and Professional Music departments, offering
private lessons in both classical and jazz guitar. His career includes performances with notable musicians such as Jim Hall, Bucky Pizzarelli, and jazz legends like Clark Terry. Newsam's influence extends beyond teaching, as he has also served as the artistic director of the Boston Classical Guitar Society and is a member of the Back Bay Guitar Trio.
