Electrovaya, a Canadian battery technology and manufacturing company, is preparing to open its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Jamestown, New York. The 137,000-square-foot plant, located on a 52-acre campus, is expected to begin commissioning equipment

This expansion aims to broaden Electrovaya's market reach beyond its traditional material-handling applications, such as forklifts, to include data-center energy storage, robotics, airport ground-support equipment, and defense.
