Eric Alström has been appointed as the new Group President & CEO of Hempel A/S, effective August 1, 2026. He takes over from Michael Hansen, who resigned in June 2026. Alström brings over 30 years of international executive leadership experience, having
worked in Europe, the USA, Japan, and China across various sectors including industrial technology, automotive, and manufacturing. He holds a Master’s degree in Management from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Prior to joining Hempel, Alström served as President of Danfoss Power Solutions, where he was responsible for the company's largest business segment, focusing on profitable growth and strategic acquisitions.
