Hormel Foods Corporation, a global branded food company with over $12 billion in annual revenue, has partnered with The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) to open applications for a National Culinary Enrichment and Innovation Program. This year-long
leadership program aims to select a cohort of 20 accomplished foodservice chefs for an immersive experience focused on creativity, leadership, and innovation within the foodservice industry. The program will feature three learning modules held at CIA facilities in Napa Valley, California; San Antonio, Texas; and New York. Hormel Foods will underwrite all tuition fees and meals for the duration of the program, demonstrating its commitment to developing future culinary leaders. Culinary professionals with over 10 years of experience, proven culinary and leadership skills, and a long-term commitment to the industry are encouraged to apply by November 30. The program is designed to bring together chefs from across the industry to foster learning and build relationships with both the CIA and Hormel Foods Foodservice teams.

What's Next?
Applications for the Culinary Enrichment and Innovation Program (CEIP) are open until November 30, 2026. Following the application period, 20 chefs will be selected to participate in the year-long program. The first module is scheduled for April 5-8, 2027, in Napa Valley, California, with subsequent modules in San Antonio, Texas (October 2027), and Hyde Park, New York (April 2028). Participants will be responsible for their transportation, lodging, and personal expenses. Upon successful completion of all three modules, chefs will receive a CIA certificate of completion and continuing education units.
