What's Happening?
The Ministry of Commerce has initiated a five-day training program focused on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in trade and economic analysis. The program, running from August 9 to 13, aims to enhance the AI-based skills of 30 officials
from the Commerce Ministry. The training covers various aspects of AI, including its use in trade operations, policymaking, and the analysis of government documents and international trade agreements. The program is organized in collaboration with UK International and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Commerce Minister Khandakar Abdul Muktadir emphasized the potential of AI to make government operations more efficient and data-driven, while also highlighting the importance of data security and transparency.
