Wistron Corporation, a Taiwan-based technology service provider, has announced the opening of its first U.S. facility in Fort Worth, Texas, dedicated to building AI servers for Nvidia. The D1 AI smart facility, valued at $700 million and spanning 324,000
square feet, currently produces Nvidia's GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchip. This advanced AI processing platform is set to expand its production to include Nvidia's Vera Rubin Superchip, which is essential for the next generation of AI computing. Wistron Chairman Simon Lin emphasized the importance of this location in building AI infrastructure in the United States.
