Garfield Beezer, Director of Food and Nutrition Services at Easterseals Southwest Florida, is making a significant impact by providing fresh, nutritious meals to children using produce from a school garden. Beezer, who has a background in farming and restaurant
management, has integrated his expertise to create meals for about 80 children daily. The garden, known as the Impact100 SRQ Grow and Learn Garden, is a nearly one-acre, wheelchair-accessible facility that Beezer designed and manages. This initiative not only provides healthy meals but also serves as an educational tool for the children.
