Great Northern Minerals has successfully completed a high-resolution drone magnetic survey at its Iron Butte Gold-Silver Project in Lander County, Nevada. This survey covered both the original main claim area and the newly staked Caetano Rim area, which
added 35 claims in May 2026. The purpose of the survey is to map bedrock geology, trace lithological boundaries, and locate subsurface faults that are not visible at the surface. The data collected will guide the company's maiden drilling program, scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2026. The exploration aims to expand the project's maiden inferred mineral resource estimate of 480,000 ounces of gold and 11.5 million ounces of silver. Additionally, the company is targeting depth and strike extensions to test for deeper Carlin-style gold and silver mineralization beneath the current resource footprint.
