Bayou Grande Marina, situated at the northeast corner of NAS Pensacola, provides a variety of water activities, including stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), kayaking, and sailing. Established in 1966 on a former seaplane maintenance ramp, the marina offers
an ideal environment for water sports. Patrons can rent SUPs, 1-person and 2-person kayaks, fishing kayaks, and Hobie sailing kayaks. The marina also provides 205 wet slips and over 200 dry storage spaces, with specific rates for military personnel and Department of Defense (DoD) civilian employees. Additionally, Bayou Grande Marina offers sailing lessons, including Mate 'A' and Skipper 'B' classes, and hosts events such as 'The Full Moon Float' and 'Thursday Night Bragging Rights Sail Races.'
