IBM and Sarvam, a full-stack sovereign AI company in India, have announced a collaboration to develop and promote sovereign AI technologies in India. This partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of AI capabilities that are trusted, governed, and sovereign across
various industries and public sector ecosystems. The initiative will focus on innovation pilots, solution accelerators, technical advisory, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. IBM's Sovereign Core software will be combined with Sarvam's AI stack to create solutions tailored for the public sector and regulated enterprises, ensuring compliance with India's regulatory, security, and operational requirements. The collaboration will enable use cases such as citizen services, grievance redressal, and document processing, enhancing government-to-citizen services with secure, multilingual, and voice-enabled capabilities.
