What's Happening?
Trek Metals has reported successful visual manganese mineralization in 43 out of 51 additional reverse circulation drill holes at its Kuro manganese discovery in Western Australia's Kimberley region. The drilling campaign has validated the use of induced
polarization (IP) as an effective method for targeting concealed manganese beneath shallow sand cover. The company has identified significant visual manganese zones, with notable intersections including 15 meters of visual massive and semi-massive manganese. The drilling results suggest a hydrothermal Woodie Woodie-style system, and Trek Metals is now focused on discovering multiple pods of mineralization. Laboratory assay results from the first batch of drill samples are expected soon, with additional IP surveying ongoing.

Trek has identified an IP target below previous sulphide-bearing drilling at the Coogan copper-gold prospect, with plans for further drilling.
