Austrian company Farm-ING has unveiled its new 12-metre SpotSprayING, a spot sprayer designed to enhance precision agriculture. The machine, demonstrated in the Netherlands, uses cameras and software to identify and target specific plants, allowing for
precise application of herbicides and fertilizers. The SpotSprayING is capable of covering approximately 4 hectares per hour and is listed for 95% drift reduction, the highest class currently available. The sprayer is available in various sizes, with the largest model weighing between 2,800 to 2,950 kg. It features a lift mast construction for height control and uses flat-fan nozzles to create precise spray spots. The technology supports multiple strategies, including targeting specific weeds or applying treatments directly to crop plants.
