Bloom Energy has announced an expansion of its partnership with MiTAC, deploying a fuel cell microgrid at MiTAC's AI server manufacturing campus in Fremont, California. This project aims to enhance Bloom's onsite power capabilities across MiTAC's operations
in California. The microgrid will support current operations and future growth in AI server production, building on Bloom's existing installation at MiTAC's San Jose facility. Bloom Energy's fuel cell systems offer quick deployment and reduce challenges related to permitting, water use, and noise. The company now serves nearly two dozen AI infrastructure customers, representing about 250 MW of capacity, a significant increase from two years ago. Bloom Energy has also partnered with companies like AEP, Brookfield, Equinix, Nebius, and Oracle, increasing its exposure to the rising demand for AI-driven power.
