BBC Cymru Wales has entered into a new agreement with the Football Association of Wales (FAW) to broadcast selected games from the Novira Cymru Premier for the next three years. This deal ensures that a minimum of 20 live games will be available each
season on BBC iPlayer, with coverage extending until 2029. The first match to be broadcast under this agreement will feature Barry Town United against Cardiff Met on August 15, followed by Ammanford versus Connah's Quay Nomads on August 22. BBC Wales head of sport, Carolyn Hitt, emphasized the network's commitment to providing live coverage of Welsh football, complementing their recent announcement to show all UEFA Wales men's international games up to Euro 2028.
