Tekever has introduced a new rotary wing uncrewed air system, the AR6 platform, at the Farnborough Airshow. This system is designed to capture a share of the expanding uncrewed heavy-lift multi-copter market. The AR6, powered by a combustion engine, promises
enhanced range and payload capabilities compared to electric vertical-takeoff-and-landing systems. It can carry payloads of 200 kg over distances of approximately 500 km. The platform utilizes digitally controlled hydraulics developed by Flowcopter, which improves energy efficiency and control. Tekever plans to produce the AR6 for both civil and military markets at its facility in Swindon, England, starting in late 2026.
