UK-based gene editing startup Phytoform has partnered with major seed companies Beck’s Hybrids and RAGT to enhance corn genetics using AI technology. The collaboration aims to improve the 'whole-plant corn architecture' to increase harvestable yield and productivity.
Phytoform's AI-powered platform, CRE.AI.TIVE, will be used to make small, beneficial changes to DNA sequences in corn plants, enhancing their structural growth and performance.
