The Newport Beach Water Polo Club girls' teams have achieved significant success at the USA Water Polo Junior Olympics, securing gold medals in the 12U and 14U age categories. The 12s Blue squad triumphed
with a 10-6 victory over Del Mar, while the 14s Blue team completed an undefeated season with a 19-6 win against Diablo Valley. This marks the second consecutive year that Newport Beach has won three gold medals in the top platinum division, with the 10-and-under girls also winning for the third straight year. Key players such as Wren Offutt, who earned MVP honors, and CeCe Mesenbrink, who scored six goals in the 14s final, were instrumental in their teams' victories.
