Valley Conference (MVC) victory. The match saw both teams trading leads, with Illinois State taking the first set 25-20. Drake rallied to win the second set 25-20 and the third set 25-15. However, Illinois State fought back to claim the fourth set 25-13, forcing a decisive fifth set. In the final set, Drake established an early lead and, despite a late push from the Redbirds, ultimately won 15-12. Kamryn Behrns led Drake's offense with 14 kills, while Lisa Melenciano added 12. Matthea Dalton contributed eight kills, 21 digs, and four service aces. Setters Katie Quick and Carolyn Maser recorded 21 and 20 assists, respectively.
