Middle Island Resources has appointed Stefan Mojićević as the country manager for Serbia, effective August 1, 2026. Mojićević joins the company from Rio Tinto, where he served as the principal permitting advisor for the Jadar Lithium Project. His experience
includes leading land acquisition and environmental impact assessments, as well as working with Serbian regulators on permitting processes. Mojićević's new role will involve overseeing regulatory and stakeholder activities, government relations, and ensuring compliance across Middle Island's three Serbian projects. This appointment is part of Middle Island's strategy to strengthen its local team and advance its exploration projects in Serbia.
