Additionally, new memberships and renewals contributed an extra $1,370. Books were priced affordably, with paperbacks at 50 cents and hardcovers at $1. The sale also offered $5 sets of 10 'mystery books' and a small box of free books. According to Deanna Jenkins, president of the FOL, books are donated and sorted throughout the year for this annual event. The FOL also logged 712.25 volunteer hours in support of the sale.
