The high school volleyball preseason is set to begin with the Crafty Gemini Preseason Showdown at the Legacy Park Multipurpose Center in Alachua. The event, organized by Crafty Gemini Youth Development, will feature eight teams, including five from the Mainstreet
coverage area. Notably, four of these teams have new head coaches. Amanda Falck takes over at Buchholz, aiming to build on the team's recent success. Hank Rone has moved to Branford, while Miranda Bass steps up at Newberry, and Angela Griffis leads Union County. The tournament serves as a preparation for the regular season and a fundraiser for Crafty Gemini Youth Development.
