The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has awarded REalloys a contract worth up to $1.7 million to develop a modular processing facility for samarium and gadolinium metals, crucial for defense technologies. This initiative is part of a broader effort to establish
a domestic supply chain for rare earth elements, reducing reliance on Chinese imports. REalloys is also collaborating with JS Link to create a non-Chinese rare earth magnet platform, integrating feedstock, processing, and manufacturing within North America.
