BigBloc Construction Ltd, a major Indian manufacturer of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) Blocks, has reported a significant improvement in its financial performance for the first quarter of FY27. The company achieved a 386% year-on-year growth in EBITDA,
reaching 6.28 crore, and reduced its net loss to 71.95 lakh from 4.96 crore in the previous year. This improvement is attributed to stable operational performance and disciplined cost management. The company has also commenced commercial production at its Umargaon facility and increased its rooftop solar capacity to 3.34 MW. Additionally, BigBloc has acquired land near Indore to establish India's largest greenfield AAC Blocks manufacturing facility, with construction expected to begin post-monsoon. The company has secured a project from Larsen & Toubro for a Bullet Train Station, reinforcing its presence in large-scale infrastructure projects.
