The Boise Metro Chamber held its 2026 Small Business and Chamber Excellence Award Winners event on June 23 at Boise Centre. The event recognized the contributions of small businesses and individuals to the local economy. Kevin Settles, owner of Bardenay
Restaurants & Distilleries, was named the 2026 Government Advocate of the Year for his efforts in representing small business interests at the government level. Dan Price, the recently retired community banking president at Mountain West Bank, was inducted into the Boise Metro Chamber Hall of Fame for his extensive contributions to the community and the chamber. The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Boise District Office also honored financial lenders in four categories, with ICCU and Zions Bank receiving multiple awards. The event included a reception and tradeshow, providing networking opportunities for chamber members and attendees.
