and 73rd career home runs in a doubleheader against Cedar Rapids Xavier, surpassing the previous record of 71 set by Kendyl Lindaman. Roth has been a standout player this season, hitting over .500 with 16 home runs and 54 RBIs. Meanwhile, in high school baseball, Bill Huisman, a coaching legend in Iowa, celebrated his 1,000th career victory. Huisman, who coaches Moravia alongside Phil Helmick, achieved this milestone with a walk-off win against Lynnville-Sully. Huisman has been coaching for over four decades and continues to lead his team with a strong record this season.
