Cavotec has signed a significant order valued at approximately EUR 1.5 million to supply shore power equipment for the expansion of a cruise terminal in Southern California. This order includes Cavotec's PowerMove, PowerFeed, and PowerCover technologies,
which will enable cruise vessels to connect to the local electrical grid while docked. This connection is expected to significantly reduce emissions and noise by allowing ships to turn off their onboard engines while at berth. The delivery of this equipment is scheduled for the third quarter of 2027.
