Island Records and EMI have redesigned their shared headquarters in King's Cross, London, into a space that merges office, gallery, and cultural elements. Developed by spatial design studio Interesting Projects and Studio Eye, the headquarters features
over 70 artworks and pieces of ephemera, integrating the musical heritage of both labels into the workspace. The design uses color and material to reflect the distinct identities of Island and EMI, creating a dynamic environment that celebrates their musical legacies.
