The University of Chicago's Data Science Institute and Financial Mathematics Program have launched a new Quantitative Developer (QD) Certificate. This program aims to equip students with advanced software engineering and financial expertise, essential
for modern trading and risk management systems. The curriculum is developed in collaboration with an Industry Advisory Board, including firms like Chicago Trading Company, DRW, and Millennium. These firms contribute real-world case studies to ensure the program addresses industry needs.
