Berg Propulsion has secured a contract to supply propulsion packages for six multipurpose dry cargo vessels being built by Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry in China. These vessels, designed by Groot Ship Design, are intended for UK-based Carisbrooke Shipping
and are scheduled for delivery between 2027 and 2029. The contract builds on Berg Propulsion's existing relationship with Jiangsu Dajin, where it has been a key supplier since 2021. The propulsion systems include advanced features like the MPP950 main propulsion system and Dynamic Drive software, which optimize fuel efficiency and performance.
