Why It's Important?
The return of the Give Thanks festival highlights the continued demand for large-scale electronic music events in the U.S., particularly during holiday weekends. This event provides a significant economic boost to the local San Jose economy, drawing attendees who will utilize local accommodations, dining, and transportation services. For the electronic music industry, it serves as a major platform for both established and emerging artists, fostering a vibrant cultural scene. The focus on back-to-back sets also indicates a trend in festival programming, offering unique collaborative performances that attract dedicated fans. The age restrictions underscore the regulatory environment for such events, balancing entertainment with public safety and responsible consumption.
