What's Happening?
Sacramento Production Services has completed a significant wireless audio overhaul at Sutter Health Park, the temporary home of the Athletics during their three-year residency in Sacramento. This upgrade involved replacing the stadium's existing wireless system
with a new Wisycom antenna and fiber-based RF distribution system. The installation was conducted in anticipation of the demanding requirements of Major League Baseball (MLB) broadcasts. The new system includes MAT244 RF combiners, LFA wideband antennas, ADFA active directional antennas, and BFL2T2 and BFLR2 antenna-over-fiber links. Ten Wisycom antennas have been strategically deployed across the facility, with four in the outfield via fiber and six others positioned in the home side stands, roof, and concourse, ensuring comprehensive coverage and improved audio quality for broadcasts.
