What's Happening?
Northern Essex Community College (NECC) has been recognized for the third consecutive year as the leader in Region 21 for NJCAA All-Academic honorees. The college accumulated 10 All-Academic selections, with students achieving a GPA of 3.60 or higher.
Notable honorees include Franchesca Karam from the women's volleyball team and Rebecca Heathman from the women's basketball team, both achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA. The recognition highlights the academic excellence of NECC's student-athletes, who balance rigorous academic and athletic commitments.
