BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Intern for its Industry Specialty Services Group (ISSG) for the Summer 2027 term in Ridgeland, Mississippi. This internship is designed for individuals currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or advanced degree program in Business
Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Public Policy, or Nonprofit Management. The intern will assist in providing professional services tailored to the specific needs and values of clients within industries such as Nonprofit & Grantmaker Advisory, Higher Education, State & Local Government, and Aerospace & Defense (Government Contracts). Key responsibilities include assisting in problem-solving and fact-finding, working alongside experienced team members to develop initial deliverables and solutions, and providing guidance and analytical insight on financial trends. The intern will also support the planning and implementation of financial systems and processes, with a focus on optimization. The role involves applying logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions for client engagements.
