Sampson County Parks and Recreation, in collaboration with Lakewood High School, recently hosted the Lakewood Football Camp. This event provided local children with the opportunity to engage with Lakewood Leopards players and coaching staff. The camp

Similarly, Union High School’s football team also partnered with Sampson Parks and Recreation to host the Union Football Camp, where Union varsity football head coach Mark Oates addressed recreation kids. Participants at both camps engaged in various drills, including simulating offensive and defensive linemen drills and practicing block techniques using lineman dummies.
